Harriet Clara was born on 13 Aug 1879 in Southery.
In the 1901 census she is 22, still living at home with her parents in Westgate St, Southery, she is a school mistress.
Harriet Clara married Frederick Hubert Barrow in December 1906. They had 2 children:
- Harriet Ellen (Nellie) 1907 - 1997
- George H 1908 - 1961
In the 1911 Census she is living in Campsey, Southery.
Harriet and Hugh moved to Parsley House in 1935. Hugh retired from farming in 1937. Shortly after Jim and Grace Robertson came to live with them as newly weds. This was a temporary arrangement which lasted 30 odd years. They each had their separate rooms in the house, but had a communal hall stairs, landing, and bathroom.
She died aged 89 on 3 Jan 1969 at Parsley House, Southery.
